The issue of safety and health has been a major concern in the EU provisions in this respect many of the provisions on this issue can be found even in the Treaties establishing the European Communities, and in a large number of directives adopted on the basis thereof. Article 31 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights established fair working conditions and fair in two ways: 1.
