At the same time, Alex notices someone else who doesn't fit anywhere - a classmate named Sam, increasingly isolated and increasingly a target. As the pressure on Sam builds toward a breaking point, Alex has to decide what "belonging everywhere" is actually good for. Speaking up costs something. Staying silent costs more.
