The System Auctioneer

Everyone levels by killing monsters. Daniel Mercer levels by knowing what their loot is really worth.

Daniel Mercer spent his life understanding value. Then he wakes in the dungeon city of Caldris with four gold, no combat talent, and a class everyone considers useless:

Appraiser.

No legendary weapon. No devastating spells. Just the ability to see what everyone else overlooks.

A broken artifact becomes his first fortune. A ruined blacksmith and brilliant alchemist become his first partners. And a mysterious object purchased at auction leads Daniel toward a secret buried beneath the city for centuries.

But Caldris already has masters.

The Golden Hand Consortium controls the auctions, the trade routes, the financing-and nearly every merchant who matters.

Daniel doesn't need to become the strongest adventurer in the world.

He intends to own the market they all depend on.

The System Auctioneer is a merchant-focused LitRPG featuring progression, dungeon exploration, crafting, auctions, business building, rare loot, and an intelligent adult protagonist.
