The Secret Is to Make Her Laugh Until She Forgets You're Ugly follows the story of Davi Moreira, a 15-year-old teenager who uses humor to hide his insecurities and cope with the bullying he experiences at school. Accustomed to making everyone laugh, he believes that his role in life is simply to be the funny friend.

Everything changes when he meets Luna Andrade, a reserved, talented, and mysterious girl who rarely smiles. As Davi tries to discover who she really is, the two begin to grow closer through honest conversations, late-night messages, and shared moments that reveal their pain, fears, and dreams.

As their friendship grows, Davi discovers that Luna is dealing with difficult family problems, while Luna realizes that behind Davi's jokes is someone who also needs to be understood. Together, they learn to trust one another and find support in moments of vulnerability.

Amid laughter, secrets, music, jealousy, and feelings that grow stronger by the day, the two build a special connection that changes their lives forever. By the end of the season, they realize that some people have the power to make the world feel a little less heavy simply by being by our side.

An emotional story of teenage romance, friendship, overcoming adversity, and self-discovery, showing that sometimes the greatest secret isn't making someone laugh, but finding someone who truly sees you for who you are.
