UNDERSTANDING GOD
The Kingdom of God

By Shokoya Taiwo Julian

What if understanding God is the key to understanding your life, your purpose, and the world around you?

Many people believe in God, read the Bible, and seek His blessings. Yet important questions remain: Who is God? What is His ultimate plan for humanity? Why did rebellion enter creation? What is the Kingdom of God, and what does it mean to live under His rule?

In Understanding God: The Kingdom of God, Shokoya Taiwo Julian invites you on a profound journey into the biblical story of God's purpose-from creation and rebellion to redemption, restoration, and life in His Kingdom.

This book explores the bigger picture of Scripture, helping readers connect the events, principles, and promises of the Bible to the unfolding purpose of God. It examines the conflict between God's will and rebellion, the significance of His interventions in human history, the work of redemption, and the restoration of His Kingdom through His divine plan.

Going beyond familiar religious ideas, the book also considers selected ancient writings and their relevance to biblical interpretation, encouraging readers to think deeply about the spiritual realities and historical questions surrounding the biblical narrative.

But this journey is not simply about acquiring knowledge. It is about discovering how a deeper understanding of God can transform your relationship with Him, reshape your perspective, and influence the way you live.

Inside this book, you will explore:

• The nature and purpose of God: Discover the central ideas that shape the book's understanding of God's identity and intentions.
• Creation and rebellion: Examine the conflict that challenges God's will and the significance of rebellion in the biblical story.
• The Kingdom of God: Explore God's rule, His purpose for humanity, and the meaning of living according to His will.
• Redemption and restoration: Follow the unfolding story of God's response to humanity's broken relationship with Him.
• The wider biblical narrative: Consider how selected ancient writings may contribute to discussions about biblical history and interpretation.
• Living in the Kingdom: Reflect on how understanding God's purposes should influence faith, character, decisions, worship, and daily life.

Whether you are a Christian seeking deeper spiritual understanding, a Bible student exploring the connections between Scripture's major themes, or a reader asking bigger questions about God's plan, this book offers an invitation to look beyond isolated passages and consider the greater story they tell.

The goal is not merely to know more about God, but to understand His purpose more deeply and respond to Him more meaningfully.

Your understanding of God shapes how you understand everything else.
