Cleaner Combustion and Sustainable World is the proceedings of the 7th International Symposium on Coal Combustion which has a significant international influence. It concerns basic research on coal combustion and clean utilization, techniques and equipments of pulverized coal combustion, techniques and equipments of fluidized bed combustion, basic research and techniques of emission control, basic research and application techniques of carbon capture and storage (CCS), etc. These researches are very important for promoting the academic communication of related subjects and the technique development of the related fields. §International Symposium on Coal Combustion ISCC was initiated and organized by the Institute of Thermal Engineering of Tsinghua University, which has already been held for 6 times so far and has had a great international influence. This symposium has become an important communication platform for completely reflecting the techniques of coal combustion, emission control and the utilization of coal combustion production in China, which is also an important platform for the international academic communication. §Professor Haiying Qi and assistant professor Bo Zhao both work at the Tsinghua University, China.
