Documenting the work of photographer Claude C. "Pop" Laval in Fresno, California, this collection begins with his arrival in 1911, which marked the beginning of a commercial photography career that would span 55 years, and showcases the many pictures that he took of the surrounding mountains, crops, businesses, streetcars, presidents, and ordinary people.
