Infrared thermography is a fast and reliable methodology for non-destructive evaluation of composite materials used in the aerospace field. Infrared thermography in the evaluation of aerospace composite materials describes composites and the main problems that can arise during manufacturing and in service, before describing the different thermographic non-destructive testing and evaluation techniques such as pulse thermography, lock-in thermography, and pulse phase.
