Excerpt from Mansfield Park: A Novel Mr. Austen-Leigh tells us that this novel, like Emma and Persuasion, was written between Feb. 1811 and Aug. 1814. It was published in 1814, and the first edition was all sold by the November of that year. The following editions appeared in Miss Austen's Lifetime: - A. Mansfield Park: a Novel, in three volumes. London: Printed for J. Murray, Albemarle Street. 1816. [Vol. I. printed by J. Moyes, Greville Street, Hatton Garden, London; Vol. II. By C. Roworth, Bell Yard, Temple Bar; Vol. III. Appears to have been set up by a third printer though no name is given.] The book has since been brought out by various publishers, and in several series. This edition is printed from B.
