Scorpionism is a major health problem in under developed countries. No specific antiserum or any other antidote is available for the treatment of a patient suffering from scorpion sting and hence prepare of a potent antiserum against scorpion venom is an utmost requirement. This book describes the toxicological effects of Asian Black scorpion Heterometrus fastigiousus and the method to prepare species specific antiscorpion venom.
