Opis

Rainbows Dreams and Angels is a double novella, two books in one. Although the two stories are unconnected they are both set in the same location (east London) and in the same timescale (1930s - 1960s). Rainbows and Dreams tells the story of Kathy, from shy schoolgirl to naďve teenager, and finally to weary adulthood, struggling to provide for herself and her son; a son whose character has worrying echoes of his father. A father whom her mother despises, holding him responsible for all of Kathy's woes and spending the rest of her life longing for retribution. In her grandson, Agnes sees a potential avenger. In Some Kind of Angel Matt Rogers is a likely lad growing up in London's docklands. A likely lad with a highly unlikely friend. Prone to talking and acting before thinking, Matt tends to attract more than his fair share of trouble, some of it potentially lethal. With the help of Gerry he survives his reckless lifestyle, making it to adulthood in one piece. But who - or what - is Gerry Redman?
