Title synopsis

Auf ihrem vierten Album "THE BEAUTY AND THE BEAST", das 1987 erschien, verewigten STORMWITCH ihre erste Ballade. "Tears By The Firelight" wurde zu einem Kultsong, der fortan zum festen Bestandteil des Live - Programms zählte. Der Song wurde Jahre später u.a von WHITE SKULL auf ihrer ersten MCD gecovert. Um den Titelsong zu unterstreichen, gab man sich optisch eine romantischere Note und trat in Kostümen des siebzehnten Jahrhunderts auf. Dadurch unterschied man sich auch besser von den unzähligen Speed - und Thrash Bands, die damals immer häufiger wurden. THE MASTERS OF BLACK ROMANTIC (diesen Titel hatten sie von einem Fan verliehen bekommen) wurden immer öfter zu großen Events geladen. So z.B. zu "Out In The Green" und dem Loreley-Festival. Sie tourten in Ungarn, als der Eiserne Vorhang noch bestand, und eine solche Tour das reinste Abenteuer war.Für Fans von Iron Maiden, Helloween!§§ Englisch§On their 4th album "Beauty and the Beast", released in 1987, Stormwitch recorded their first ballad. To emphasize title of the album, the members of Stormwitch decided to perform from now on in medieval costumes. Because of this romantic style they were very different from all the Speed- and Thrash-Bands who flooded the market. The Masters of Black Romantic, alittle created by a fan played bigger and bigger shows, among them Out of the Green and Loreley. They toured Hungary. In times of the Cold War a real adventure. They almost missed their first gig because the custom office wouldn't let them go.For fans of Iron Maiden, Helloween!
