Excerpt from Complex System: Using Complex Objects for Predicting and Controlling the Future In general, the problem of non-determinism must be addressed to predict the future. One way to restrict non-determinism and, consequently, make more accurate predictions about future states of a system, is to understand its objectives. As will be described in this report, there is a way to convert objectives into additional constraints, thus reducing non-determinism. To achieve this, techniques from optimal control theory [8] and operations research will be utilized. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
