Book synopsis

During the late 1950s at a convent in Northern England, a young nun is seduced by a demon lover in the guise of an angel. After undergoing an exorcism, Jane is committed to a psychiatric hospital. Upon release, she begins a new life in Paris, but is pursued by the demon. After a love affair with a Moroccan businessman she becomes pregnant. She leaves for the French Alps to have her baby but she's convinced that she's still being stalked. In Dangerous Angel, this chilling novel by Susie Reynolds, Jane's life is told through her journals, which offer a glimpse into the repressive church and the strict moral codes of the fifties.
