Book synopsis

Emily's first day at Brownsville District Secondary School is a disaster and worst of all her best friend Megan isn't there to make everything funny. But at least Emily now knows the principal, Mrs. Barrow, and Doug, one of the auto shop boys, has asked her out which is scary but okay. And sure the whole school saw her fire engine red underwear but they'll forget that eventually. Right?
