Book synopsis

In a Dark World of Angelic Watchers and Nephilim Giants, One Man is Called by God: Enoch the Giant Killer. Before Noah, before the Flood, the world was wicked beyond imagination. But one man stood out from the rest: Enoch. "Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him." That's all the Biblical book of Genesis tells us about this enigmatic primordial holy man. The ancient Book of Enoch tells us that he pronounced judgment on the fallen Watchers and their giant progeny, the Nephilim of Genesis chapter 6. But what if that holy calling meant that Enoch was a giant killer? This second novel in the saga Chronicles of the Nephilim is a prequel to Noah Primeval that tells the original story of the fall of the angelic Watchers from heaven and the rise of the Nephilim giants generations before the Flood. Follow the epic journey of Enoch the giant killer with his small band of family warriors who seek outlaw giants for bounty, but stumble upon a conspiracy of the Watchers that is so evil, it will change the universe forever if God does not stop them. You'll meet some of the beloved characters from Noah Primeval when they were much younger, like Methuselah and Uriel, as well as the origin stories of the lead villainous Watchers, Semjaza and Azazel who became the gods Anu and Inanna. Learn About the Historical and Biblical Research Behind the Novel There seems to be a Nephilim craze these days. A great interest in the giants, Watchers and the Book of Enoch. Lots of books out there about the End Times and Nephilim in the modern day. But Enoch Primordial and Chronicles of the Nephilim Biblical Fantasy Series tells the original story from the ancient past that all began with Genesis 6. Author Godawa shares the scholarly research that undergirds the fictional adventure. Enoch Primordial has appendices that provide an explanation of Biblical concepts in the novel such as the Watchers, Nephilim, Giants, Leviathan, the Book of Enoch and other Biblical mysteries. Biblical Fantasy Based on History and Ancient Mythology Enoch Primordial is written in the spirit of The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings, blending fantasy and mythopoeia with history to retell the Biblical narrative with a fresh perspective, making it come alive in a new way, while staying true to the original spirit of the Bible story. It's like filling in the story between the lines of what the Bible tells us. A NOTE ON THE AGE APPROPRIATENESS OF THE NOVELS Some Christians have asked what "rating" the novels have in terms of the portrayal of sex and violence. I would say the series is rated PG-13. The Chronicles do deal with evil behaviors that would be appropriate for mature teens and above. The violence in the Chronicles is like the book of Judges. The sexuality is like Song of Solomon, alluded to poetically, but obviously. The description of sexual evil is like Ezekiel 16, sometimes shocking, but never glorified. There is an occasional profane word or vulgarity like in Ezekiel 23, revealing spiritual wickedness.
