Book synopsis

Jacqueline Laurens is divorced for a year, the only one amongst all of her married friends. Her husband got the second house, the Porsche and the young girlfriend while Jackie got custody of their children, a broken heart and more guilt than she could sift through in a lifetime. Not to mention that it's Christmas and her 40th birthday is just around the corner. So when her best friend proposes a girls' weekend in Hawaii to celebrate, Jackie couldn't be more excited. But when her friend has to cry off Jackie gets on the plane by herself, more than a little lonely.
