Heinrich von Veldeke's adaptation of the Eneas was regarded even by the «classical» generation of Middle High German poets as a pioneering achievement. His immediate source, the Anglo-Norman Roman d'Eneas, offers, together with other sources, a logical starting-point for any interpretation of Veldeke's work. The last part of this volume, a translation of the Middle High German text into English, meets the needs of those medievalists who have no knowledge of the Middle High German language.
Since 2008, we have served long line of book lovers, but each of them was always on the first place.
