Originally published in 1885. Inductive Logic is the science of the discovery of facts not directly observable. A few facts are known to us without discovery. Such are our personal identity, moral freedom, and obligation. Certain truths are also recognized by the mind as certain as soon as they are suggested. In the following treatise we shall first inquire what is meant by "a fact" and shall then follow as exactly as possible the processes of mind by which facts are ascertained. Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900's and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. We are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original text and artwork.
Since 2008, we have served long line of book lovers, but each of them was always on the first place.
