It is a type of Ukiyo-e, which was especially all the range among people in Edo period (17th-19th century). Almost all ukiyo-e artists made shunga at some point in their careers.§This big book of 586 pages features various Shunga works by masters of Ukiyo-e artists such as Hokusai Katsushika, Utamaro Kitagawa, Kuniyoshi Utagawa, Kiyonaga Torii, and Eisen Keisai.
