Twenty months have past since Aaron Vival's efforts ended the nightmare in the Northern Realm but the anomalies still plague Hyda so it's only a matter of time before history repeats itself and this time the nightmare may be worse. While on a personal mission Aaron discovers by chance Zargoth's journal. Zargoth was a legendary hero who led a group of chosen champions to go on a quest to find the root cause of the anomalies and vanished. He left journals behind charting his progress for anyone to follow in his footsteps. Others have discovered the journal and tried to go after Zargoth's trail before and they also all vanished. Seeing this as a chance to find out the secret behind the anomalies Aaron leads a group to follow in Zargoth's footsteps however his group isn't the only party interested and not all of the others have good intentions.
