David Palmiro is unhappily middle aged. He likes no-one. He rants and raves and has obscure thought processes that do not serve him well highlighted by a series of bizarre dreams which become increasingly disturbed. Like many of us, he is disillusioned and bored with his life, his work and at home and his misanthropic nature alienates him from just about everyone. Fundamentally, he is unhappy and frustrated with himself; a deep lack of self-esteem that goes way back. Somehow, he wants to be a better man, to be relevant, to make a difference and to redeem himself in his eyes, but he doesn't know how. The last thing he needs in his life right now is a leaking tap and his futile attempts to repair it serve as a metaphor for deeper human failings. Ultimately, events lead him to an opportunity to finally turn his life around.
